Client: SpinePlus Family Chiropractic
Industry: Healthcare — Chiropractic / Prenatal & Paediatric Care
Locations: Subang Jaya, Bangsar, Petaling Jaya, Puchong
Campaign Period: June 2024 – April 2025
When SpinePlus came to Hypercharge Digital in mid-2024, their website was effectively invisible on Google. The clinic had a presence, a strong team, and a clear niche — serving pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and young children — but none of that translated into online traffic or bookings.
The site had been built on a legacy CMS that created crawling issues for search engines. Organic traffic was negligible. Leads from Google Business Profile were trickling in but inconsistently.
Over the next 10 months, our SEO agency ran a structured SEO programme that addressed the root technical problems, rebuilt the site’s keyword architecture, and produced content that matched how Klang Valley residents actually search for chiropractic care. By April 2025, SpinePlus was generating over 4,100 organic clicks, ranking in the top six for competitive keywords like “chiropractor Subang Jaya” and “chiropractor Bangsar”, and recording more than 560 lead events through the website.
Here is how that happened.
The Client: A Chiropractic Clinic Built for Families
SpinePlus Family Chiropractic operates across four Klang Valley locations — Subang Jaya (Sunway Geo), Bangsar, Petaling Jaya, and Puchong. The clinic’s clinical focus centres on prenatal chiropractic care, postpartum recovery, paediatric chiropractic treatment, and spinal health for the wider family.
This niche positioning is commercially smart but SEO-challenging. Searches for “chiropractor” in Malaysia tend to be broad and local. Ranking for location-specific queries — “chiropractor Subang Jaya”, “chiropractor Bangsar” — is competitive, dominated by directories and clinics with long-standing digital footprints.
SpinePlus’s challenge was not a lack of clinical expertise. It was a near-total absence of digital visibility.
The Challenge: An Inherited Site with Structural Problems
When Hypercharge’s team conducted the initial audit in June 2024, three core problems emerged.
Legacy CMS Issues
The existing website had been built on an older content management system. This created multiple technical SEO problems: slow page load times, improper URL structures, missing canonical tags, and pages that search engines struggled to crawl and index consistently. Without resolving these, no amount of keyword optimisation or content production would move the needle.
No Keyword Strategy or Content Architecture
The site had no structured approach to targeting local search queries. There was no location-specific page strategy, no content mapped to the way patients search — whether by symptom, treatment type, or clinic location. Chiropractic has a rich vocabulary of search terms, from “spinal decompression” to “pregnancy chiropractor”, and none of it was being systematically captured.
Low GMB Lead Volume
SpinePlus’s Google Business Profile listings existed but were not optimised to drive consistent lead flow. Review velocity was low. Profile completeness gaps and inconsistent NAP (name, address, phone number) data across listings were suppressing the clinic’s local search rankings.
What Hypercharge Did: A 10-Month SEO Programme
1. Full Site Audit and Legacy CMS Remediation
The first phase was forensic — identifying every technical issue affecting crawlability, indexation, and page speed. The team resolved legacy CMS conflicts, corrected URL structures, implemented proper canonical tags, and addressed Core Web Vitals issues that were undermining the site’s standing with Google’s quality systems.
This groundwork was not glamorous, but it was foundational. No organic growth is sustainable on a site that search engines cannot properly read.
2. Keyword Research with a Local and Clinical Focus
Hypercharge mapped the full landscape of relevant search queries — from high-volume local terms like “chiropractor Subang Jaya” and “chiropractor Bangsar” to more specific clinical searches like “pregnancy chiropractor”, “pediatric chiropractor”, “spinal decompression therapy near me”, and “baby chiropractor”. Each keyword was classified by intent and assigned to a specific page, either existing or newly created.
The focused keyword targets set at the start of the campaign were: “chiropractor Subang Jaya”, “chiropractic Subang Jaya”, “chiropractic”, “bangsar chiro”, “chiropractic Petaling Jaya”, and “chiropractic Puchong”.
3. On-Page SEO: Location Pages and Treatment Pages
Dedicated location pages were created or restructured for each of SpinePlus’s four branches. Each page targeted the specific local keywords for that area, included structured data markup, and was optimised for CTR with compelling meta titles and descriptions.
Treatment pages — covering chiropractic adjustment, spinal decompression, prenatal chiropractic, postpartum chiropractic, paediatric care, dry needling, laser therapy, and the Activator Method — were similarly rebuilt with intent-first content and proper heading hierarchies.
4. Content Writing: Educational Articles with Clinical Depth
A series of blog articles was written to target informational queries that potential patients search for before booking. Pieces like “Why Your Child Should See a Paediatric Chiropractor” served dual purposes: building topical authority around SpinePlus’s specialist niche, and capturing mid-funnel traffic from parents researching options.
All content was written to meet Google’s E-E-A-T standards — demonstrating clinical experience, properly attributing claims, and avoiding thin, low-value content that search engines now actively demote.
The Results: 10 Months of Measurable SEO Growth
Google Search Console: Organic Search Performance
| Metric | Result |
| Total Organic Clicks (Malaysia) | 4,139 |
| Total Impressions | 227,295 |
| Average CTR | 1.82% |
| Top Traffic Source | Malaysia 94% |
| Top Device | Mobile (67% of clicks) |
The traffic is overwhelmingly domestic — 94% of clicks originate from Malaysia — confirming that the local SEO strategy is attracting the right audience. Mobile accounts for 67% of clicks, consistent with the search behaviour of the clinic’s core demographic: busy parents and working adults searching on their phones.
Keyword Rankings: All Target Keywords Achieved

| Keyword | Position | Impressions | Clicks |
| chiropractor subang jaya | 5.74 | 3,827 | 50 |
| chiropractic subang jaya | 5.19 | 1,102 | 18 |
| chiropractor sunway geo | 3.62 | 297 | 16 |
| sunway geo chiropractic | 2.89 | 520 | 32 |
| chiropractor sunway | 3.96 | 668 | 16 |
| chiropractor bangsar | 7.10 | 2,734 | 11 |
| chiropractic | 5.67 | 941 | 8 |
| baby chiropractor | 7.02 | 320 | 6 |
| pediatric chiropractor | 15.23 | 1,504 | 9 |
| spinal decompression therapy near me | 7.14 | 137 | 6 |
Every target keyword from the campaign brief achieved a first-page or near-first-page ranking. “Chiropractor Subang Jaya” — the most commercially competitive term on the list — settled at position 5.74, placing SpinePlus in the top six results for one of the highest-intent chiropractic searches in the Klang Valley.
“Chiropractor Bangsar” at position 7.1 is particularly notable given the high competition in that area. The Bangsar location page alone recorded 148 clicks against 27,260 impressions — a clear signal of strong ranking presence with room for further click-through optimisation as the campaign continues.
Top Performing Pages

| Page | Clicks | CTR | Avg Position |
| Homepage | 2,217 | 1.12% | 35.3 |
| Subang Jaya Location Page | 408 | 1.85% | 5.8 |
| Bookings Page | 383 | 3.28% | 3.96 |
| Treatments Page | 327 | 1.42% | 11.14 |
| About Us | 304 | 1.32% | 9.73 |
| Bangsar Location Page | 148 | 0.54% | 31.81 |
| Paediatric Chiropractors Page | 131 | 1.01% | 14.94 |
| Pregnancy Chiropractors Page | 34 | 0.61% | 21.92 |
The Bookings page achieving a 3.28% CTR at average position 3.96 is a strong signal — users finding SpinePlus for high-intent queries are clicking through directly to book. The Subang Jaya location page’s 408 clicks at position 5.8 reflects the direct impact of the location-page strategy.
Google Analytics 4: Leads and Engagement
| Event | Total Events | Unique Users |
| Page Views | 23,157 | 8,378 |
| Sessions Started | 12,199 | 8,380 |
| generate_lead | 564 | 316 |
| whatsapp_click | 482 | 429 |
| form_submit | 454 | 410 |
| form_start | 449 | 422 |
The GA4 data tells the conversion story. Over the tracked period, SpinePlus recorded 564 generate_lead events — the most meaningful indicator of patients signalling booking intent. WhatsApp clicks (482) and form submissions (454) confirm that a significant proportion of organic visitors were taking direct contact actions.
With 8,397 total users in the period, the site is attracting a sustained, growing audience — not a one-time traffic spike.
What This Means for Healthcare Businesses in Malaysia
SpinePlus’s results reflect a pattern Hypercharge has observed consistently across healthcare clients: the combination of technical SEO remediation, location-specific page architecture, and clinically credible content produces compounding organic growth.
For chiropractic, the search landscape is particularly well-suited to this approach. Patients in Malaysia search with high local specificity — they want a chiropractor in their area, not a generic directory result. Clinics that build dedicated, well-optimised location pages and support them with trust-building content outperform those that rely on a single homepage.
SpinePlus’s niche focus on prenatal and paediatric care also created a content opportunity that many generalist chiropractic competitors were not exploiting. Treatment pages targeting “pregnancy chiropractor” and “baby chiropractor” captured a segment of high-intent, underserved search demand.
A Clinic That Can Now Be Found
The core measure of this campaign’s success is simple: SpinePlus went from being effectively unfindable online to ranking on the first page of Google for its most important local keywords.
The 564 lead events, 482 WhatsApp clicks, and 454 form submissions in the tracked period represent real patients who found the clinic through organic search and reached out. That is the outcome SEO is supposed to produce — and the foundation on which SpinePlus can continue to grow.
For healthcare businesses in Malaysia looking to build sustainable patient acquisition through organic search, the SpinePlus case demonstrates that the fundamentals still matter: fix the technical problems first, build content that matches how patients actually search, and give Google every reason to trust your site.
